The Sound of Music
I don’t listen to nearly as much music as I would like to – all I get is a few stolen moments in the car on my way to work or to the park. Here’s my first contribution to One Deep Breath.
The sound of music
A bash on the drums
A piercing scream from the lungs
Naomi’s music
(Naomi is my daughter)

Excellent!
LOL I had two daughters and I remember:) Fun image!
I like the ambiguity. Now if the drummer is young, I'm hearing a youthfully exuberant lung stretch.
If the drummer is my daughter (she is) then the screaming is my own.
Yep, I've been screaming.
I think I may copy you and tot up the things I have achieved recently, that looks helpful and positive. I hope there will be something to put on my done list. :-s
@jvs: Never thought of the scream being mine!! But you're sooo right - most of the time the scream in mine.
@CGP: Thank you
@tammy: But we still love them! LOL
Your haiku put a big smile on my face...both of my own children took music lessons at the same time...no drums but a bassoon and a viola (well, the sounds never really matched the instruments but they tried).
So glad to have you join us at ODB!
really nice, I can still remember making music like that!
I can relate to that one — except it's my son, and guitar instead of drums. The Boy thinks he's going to be a heavy metal star.
yep, big smile on my face too :) So glad you jumped into ODB!
A future rocker! I love these images of little children just starting out with music. Nuture it.
fantastic!
Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Just the fuel I need to keep on going.
