Great haiku, especially about the hedgehog crossing. I was so tickled in Devon to come across a Hedgehog Hospital.
I like the hedgehog best also--makes me chuckle to picture it in my head.

I had to laugh when I read your second poem. A local farm has been spreading chicken maure this week, The smell is so bad, everyone is complaining. The story has been on the news three days!
great humour here. do you see those hedgehog pipes they put under roads now? how does the hedgehog know they're for them to use? i mean, humans don't use the proper crossings. ;o)

Two excellent haiku there. So many hedgehogs get squashed on the road that I hope they do use the crossings.....
Number 2 made me laugh....
You know what, I think I have changed my mind about taking a break. Not having written for one day makes me realise I won't have a regular safe outlet for my thoughts. I miss it!
