Puzzled

How can he say
That he loves her
Always has
Always will do
But still leave her
For another woman
I don't understand
I'm puzzled
So is she

MEN- they are the biggest puzzle that women will NEVER be able to understand!!! Even if I was given a Y chromosome -I don't think it would explain why some men think like they do. Too familiar a story.

I am a man, and I am puzzled as well. Love should be forever, I guess, it changes some times.

What a great puzzle to highlight! I have to say I've asked the same question myself several times!

I don't know the answer to this puzzle - sometimes people marry too young and grow apart; find they want different things in life? It's hard to understand without knowing the circumstances. And no one can really know the circumstances except those in the marriage.

I think it's more the fickleness of love than having to do with gender- love is almost too complicated a puzzle for anyone to solve...
Wonderful little post...

Interesting poem - I think it is really very good.
I think we all have a sense of such baffling sentiments.

You posed wise questions in your poem. It sure is baffling. Good take on the prompt.

Puzzling indeed! Maybe people mean different things by love, and want different things from it.

I think one of my roles as a therapist is to try to help interested people solve some of these puzzles. Each puzzle is unique to the individual. The only puzzle we can solve is the one within ourselves. The man who cheats has to figure it out for himself. If he even wants to. And that won't do the rejected woman too much good after the fact.
