both are wonderful and in different ways...i especially like the "feather patterns" (the lyrical quality more than the reality on my face, mind you :-)
The first one really speaks to me - the second makes me cringe! Good job.

I love the line 'my road maps of time'. The second haiku I don't want to think about, I have a dental appointment very soon and I hope my teeth will stay just exactly where they are....
